Juratoys SAS is a French toy group based in Orgelet, in the Jura mountains — the historic heart of France's wooden toy industry. Searches for "jura toys" or "juratoys france" all lead back to the same group: the parent company behind three of Europe's most loved children's toy brands. In October 2022, Juratoys itself joined the Maped group, a family-owned French company best known for school and creative supplies.

Janod's Parent Company & the Three Juratoys Brands

If you've ever wondered who Janod's parent company is, the answer is Juratoys. Juratoys is the parent of Janod (founded 1970, French wooden toys for babies and toddlers), Kaloo (French plush comforters and baby gifts), and Lilliputiens (a Belgian brand known for cloth-based activity toys, acquired by Juratoys in 2020). Together, the three brands cover ages 0 to 8.
